Hotel Edelweiss is 2 km far away from Tenda Pass (colle di Tenda), along the main road from Tenda pass to Limone P.te ..If You arrive from Cuneo You take direction Limone Piemonte without entering the village continuing the main road in direction France-border, after four sharp turns, on your left You find our building with a private parking place.

The Hotel is in a very sunny valley with view on Mount Cabanaira and Tenda Pass.

You can reach walking Limonetto (a small village fraction of Limone 1, 5 km far away from our Hotel), through the beautiful Roman road which is still paved as in ancient times, where You can find blackberries, strawberries, redberries and mushrums.From Limonetto You reach in a few minute the Piz Waterfall and continuing the way, the Alpe of Papa Giovanni XXII a Chapel build in an old stable, with a thatched roof , all around the mountain huts and not far away the hermit's hut.

Who doesn't like to walk, but wants to be next a nature rich of flowers, woods and green fields, by car You can drive up to the “La Grogia”Chalet (typical chalet made out of wood with bar and restaurant), or going along the Salt road towards the Tenda Pass to visit the fortresses of the eighteenth century (the walkers can reach up the Abyss Rock and enjoy the beautiful 360° view over the mountains.

At the fortresses the Salt road continues in several ways, through over 100 km of dirt road You can reach Imperia(perfect for motorcycles, land rovers and mountain-bikes).

We suggest to carry always with You a photocamera to take pictures of the typical and many flowers of the Sea Alps(some of them are very rare) and the beautiful landscapes which change colour at every day's hour.

Just a few minutes far away from the Hotel You can reach the natural parks that surround our valley (Palanfrè Park, Sea Alps park and Mercantour Park with its Wonder Valley there You find many wallpaintings of the Bronze Age, more than 8.000 and almost thirty lakes), rich of lakes, ways, chalets and any type of plants.

In wintertime in front of us the crosscountry slopes and just two minutes far away the ski slopes of Tenda Pass and Limonetto.
